Recently I have been looking for a card holder for convenience reasons.
I have been searching websites and department stores for weeks and Instagram finally answered my wishes.
HADesigns have made the most luxurious personalised goods and I am seriously in love with my new personalised card holder!
No more untidy purses and thousands of reciepts.
If anyone is searching for the perfect gift or even just to treat yourselves make sure you check HAdesignsltd.com out!
I will definitely be purchasing a lot more from this website!
I have been wanting to write this blog post for a while however I don’t really like to talk/write about negative or personal issues. Now that awareness of this is being shared by much bigger platforms I thought I may as well share my story.
Many moons ago when I was 16/17 I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Even though I had very slim to no symptoms of this disease I was suffering with sudden weight gain and also very strange periods where by I would constantly feel faint in the week leading up to it and during my periods. They were becoming more and more painful each time I knew something wasn’t quite right.
Anyway let’s cut to the chase my biggest worry was that I had gained almost 2 stone in a couple of months between when I was around 21 and I had always been of a tiny build until this age.
Although my body was changing to “become a woman” (I was a late developer lol) I was very aware of this and needed to do something about it.
After months of research I saw that a lot of people with PCOS had cut out dairy products which really seemed to help them to control their weight and was also helping with their health and well-being too.
I went to my doctor to see if this could be a possible thing that could help me and they recommended for me to try it. So off I went dairy free and I have never looked back.
Don’t get me wrong there could be things that I eat now that have the tiniest amount of dairy in that I would probably never know about, but as long as I check the majority of products I don’t worry about it too much.
For any other PCOS sufferers I couldn’t recommend this more if I tried. I have been able to control my weight as well as exercising regularly, I have seen my own health improve dramatically and I feel a thousand times better within myself. I have been 99.9% dairy free for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say it’s one of the best self improvements I ever made!
If you got to the end of the longest blog I’ve ever written congratulations you deserve an almond milk latte ha!
Until next time
Has been a statement in my skincare routine from being 15.
I have always loved dermalogica because I have for most of my life had very sensitive skin especially on my face and even the smallest fragrance or artificial ingredient can cause me to have break outs.
As the winter months are now in full swing, my skin has become very dry and needed a little revitalisation which is where the “multivitamin power recovery masque” saved me.
The face mask helps to “reduce stressed and ageing skin” which after a long wintery weekend in London this was definitely needed.
The only explanation I can give of the feeling the mask gives to you after use is like stroking a puppy’s belly (yes it really felt that soft)The mask goes on your skin like an orange paste and dries a darker shade of orange. The dermatologist in Selfridges did also confirm to me that you can sleep in the mask which I am yet to do but leaving it on for 15 minutes definitely had almost perfect results for me! Until next time H x
There are many things more festive than going to London near to Christmas (unless you go to New York) 😭 so last weekend that’s what I did.
It started with a 5am get up and lot of free coffees on the train down to London, I was then greeted with the most bitter weather I have experienced in a long while. I did wear a coat in the below picture, I just took it off for visual purposes 😂
I then met friends in shoreditch (people dress so cool here) and went to The Breakfast Club for the most perfect breakfast and pancakes. We then spent the evening walking around Central London doing some Christmas shopping and admiring the amazing Christmas decorations that Oxford and Regent street have to offer.
Today was a big day as it was world of dance. Some would say the UK’s biggest annual dance competition. The coronet at elephant and castle was filled with talent from teens to adults and it was most definitely a vibe! And I got to catch up with some of my overseas friends that I haven’t seen in a long time!
My friend Charlie took me to the most amazing organic breakfast/brunch cafe facing Carnaby street Le Pain Quotidien that served up the most delicious almond croissant I have ever inhaled – literally!
Almost home time, (sobs) but not before I spend a little more time in Selfridges lusting over the luxury Christmas gifts and making multiple stops in Starbucks. Now I’m back home writing this and back to my normal routine, but all in all I had such an amazing weekend with people who I don’t get to see as much as I would like and I’m feeling that little more festive than before – if that’s possible. Until next time H x
As some of you may already have seen on my Instagram, if not go follow, the only colour jeans I buy are black. Why? They go with everything and are the most flattering for my shape.
Black Jeans are so versatile, they can be dressed up or down which is the reason why I have so many pairs and wear them so often!
I am going to show you 3 different ways that you can wear black jeans.
First – A casual shopping trip;
Teamed with a plain t-shirt Zara
Shearling aviator jacket – Zara
Trainers – Vans
Next – Drinks with the girls;
Bardot Frill Top – Urban outfitters
Heels – Zara
Next – An autum day out
Top – Calvin Klein
Coat – Next
Trainers – Puma
I hope you enjoyed this post. If you would like more like this please let me know in the comments!
